We are less than a month (July 1) when we close up the pledge manager at Backer Kit!  We still have a large amount of people who haven't finished it yet, so were just sending out a reminder to tell everyone!

A few other things of note:  I've sent out information to those who backed Dice Character art and the Gen Con pizza party.  MANY have not responded, please check your emails to make sure you got them.

We are in the middle of collecting promos, getting the Dice Tower swag manufactured, and of course, putting out a lot of content!

Well, the year is progressing, and we are working harder than ever to get out content for you all each and every week.  I hope you are enjoying it!

Some status updates:

- The van has been purchased, design is almost finished, and we'll reveal the whole thing via video when it's done.

- We are working on Discord and hope to launch that within a month.

- I'm planning to run the 24 hour Marathon in May.  Exact dates still being worked out.

- Our game show and RPG sessions are in the planning stages.

As for physical rewards, we plan to launch the BackerKit this coming Monday!   We've been working hard to make sure everything is set up and ready to go.  

So here's how the process will work.  We are finishing up the BackerKit right now.  We'll be doing some tests near the end of this week.  If you get your BackerKit then, don't panic, it just means you got lucky and got to get in a bit earlier in the "test group"!

On Monday, you'll get an email with instructions on what to do next.  At that point, you will go to the BackerKit website and complete your address, add anything else you might want to get, and submit it.  The faster everyone does this, the more you help us!  This allows us to produce the right amount of physical product and helps us wrap up the BackerKit faster.

You'll be able to add some things that were available in the Kickstarter to your pledge if you want, although some things (like Dice People, Promo Pack D, etc.) are no longer available due to limited quantities.  Don't worry, though, if you chose two or three promo packs, you will still be able to choose Promo pack D.  Remember, backing the Kickstarter is the best way to get what you want!  Also, we do have limited quantities of some items, and we will open up the BackerKit to the general public in a week or so, so make sure you don't delay!

As for shipping, we are going to charge shipping now, and you'll put in your address.  Don't worry, though, we will alert you before we commence actual shipping (near the end of 2023) so if your address changes in that time, you'll be able to update it then.   We will attempt to get things shipped even earlier, but that depends on when we get our promos from the publishers.

Meanwhile, take a look at some of the samples that have come in!

So that's it for now!  We'll send out another quick update when the BackerKit goes live.  Thanks for backing all our content!  We've been hard at work to get the digital content (our main focus, and the point of the Kickstarter), but we want to get you these goodies also.   Thanks so much for supporting our efforts!

What an end!  Everyone thought we would fund less than previous years, and then you all went and did that!

My apologies for posting a day later, but we were up to midnight on the final stream, and we needed a day to recover.

So what's the process from here on out?

Well, the content happens immediately.  This coming week we are finishing up our top 100 games of all time, there are reviews, live shows, and more!

As for the Kickstarter, people's accounts are charged, although there is usually a lot of cards that bounce (over $15,000 worth in this case).  If this happens to you, Kickstarter will continue to attempt to charge the card over the coming week.  If that doesn't work, the pledge is canceled.  If that happens to you, you can email us at [email protected] and we'll make sure you get in the pledge manager.

Speaking of pledge manager, this takes weeks to put together, but we'll get right on that - and we'll let you know  when it is ready to go.

As for stretch goals?  Well, I'm looking at vans, we're going to take some time building a Discord group, and we'll get that content to you as quickly as we can this year.
